The Clarion Clipperton Zone (CCZ) hosts a valuable deposit of polymetallic nodules. Understanding the geology this is key to its effective exploration and future mining. Interpretation satellite derived bathymetry elucidates large scale geomorphological units structural that characterize area. Main Map includes distinct plains, rises, lows abyssal hills, steps trough along parts bounding fracture zone, seamount chains, fault zones rifts.
