Geometric squeezing into the lowest Landau level

The equivalence between neutral particles under rotation and charged in a magnetic field relates phenomena as diverse spinning atomic nuclei, weather patterns, the quantum Hall effect. In their descriptions, translations along different directions do not commute, implying Heisenberg uncertainty relation spatial coordinates. Here, we exploit ability to squeeze non-commuting variables dynamically create Bose-Einstein condensate occupying single Landau gauge wavefunction lowest level. We directly resolve extent of zero-point cyclotron orbits, demonstrate geometric squeezing orbits' guiding centers by more than ${7}~$dB below standard limit. attains an angular momentum ${1000}\,{\hbar}$ per particle, interatomic distance comparable size orbits. This offers new route towards strongly correlated fluids bosonic states.
