Geographical life-space and subjective wellbeing in later life

Geographical life-space is an important factor to consider when studying subjective wellbeing of older adults. The purpose this article twofold: provide in-depth understanding 1) the geographical life-spaces in which lives adults take place and 2) relation between experienced levels wellbeing. Seventy-six (aged 65 older) participated our qualitative study. We applied a research approach, through combining indepth-interviews with visual diagrams. Our findings show that most continue experience high level wellbeing, regardless extent their life-space. conclude possibility fulfill one's needs, even restricted life-space, more conducive maintaining than itself.
