Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Analysis of the HSF Gene Family in Poplar

The Heat Shock Factor (HSF) transcription factor family plays crucial roles in plant growth and development, as well protecting against adverse stresses. However, studies on the functions regulatory mechanisms of HSF genes are limited poplar. Here, we identified classified 30 factors Populus trichocarpa based recent genomic data annotation information conducted a comprehensive analysis these proteins, including phylogenetic physicochemical properties analysis, domain characterization, subcellular localization prediction, cis-acting elements sequence structure chromosomal distribution. Our revealed that segmental duplication events may be main driving force behind expansion poplar gene family, explored collinearity between those six other representative species. We also analyzed tissue-specific hormonal responses co-expression network which important molecular biological processes related to biotic abiotic stress response, epigenetic modification.
