چکیده
WRKY proteins are an important group of transcription factors (TFs) gene family and were identified primarily in plants. TFs play vital roles modulating expression when plants face detrimental effects due to the environment. In current study, we focused on using mandarin citrus (Citrus reticulata) genome understand impact extraction alleles mining mandarins. The C. reticulata 46 CrWRKY genes that classified into three main groups (G1, G2, G3) further with five subclasses (IIa, IIb, IIc, Iid, IIe) G2 group, all presented 29 scaffolds representing numerous segmental duplications 100% events established. Multiple sequence analysis predicted presence “WRKYGQK” domain metal-chelating zinc-finger motif C2H2 45 genes, while was replaced “WRKYGKK” only CrWRKY20. comparative relationship other plant species dual synteny revealed divergence between grandis occurred after evolutionary clementine, sinensis, medica, ichangensis. possible functions mitigating environmental cis-regulatory elements silico RNAseq analysis, for development These results provide a robust platform absence knowledge functional identification from key use improve desirable agronomic consumer-driven fruit quality traits mandarins related species.

Genome-wide identification of the potato WRKY transcription factor family
WRKY transcription factors play pivotal roles in regulation of stress responses. This study identified 79 WRKY genes in potato (Solanum tuberosum). Based on multiple sequence alignment and phylogenetic relationships, WRKY genes were classified into three major groups. The majority of WRKY genes belonged to Group II (52 StWRKYs), Group III had 14 and Group I consisted of 13. The phylogenetic tre...
متن کاملBioinformatics Genome-Wide Characterization of the WRKY Gene Family in Sorghum bicolor
The WRKY gene family encodes a large group of transcription factors that regulate genes involved in plant response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Sorghum is a notable grain and forage crop in semi-arid regions because of its unusual tolerance against hot and dry environments. We identified a set of 85 WRKY genes in the S. bicolor genome and classified them into three groups (I–III). Among the ...
متن کاملMorphological Identification of Mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco) in Bhutan
This study aimed to identify Bhutanese mandarin accessions using morphological characteristics. A total of 30 accessions were selected from six districts in the major mandarin-growing regions in Bhutan. Samples of 15 leaves, 5 flowers and 15 fruit were collected randomly from each accession. A total of 23 characters were evaluated from the trees, leaves, flowers and fruit from each plant. A dic...
متن کاملIdentification and characterization of the WRKY transcription factor family in Pinus monticola.
The WRKY gene family represents an ancient and highly complex group of transcription factors involved in signal transduction pathways of numerous plant developmental processes and host defense response. Up to now, most WRKY proteins have been identified in a few angiosperm species. Identification of WRKY genes in a conifer species would facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the evolutiona...
متن کاملGenome-wide identification and characterization of WRKY gene family in Salix suchowensis
WRKY proteins are the zinc finger transcription factors that were first identified in plants. They can specifically interact with the W-box, which can be found in the promoter region of a large number of plant target genes, to regulate the expressions of downstream target genes. They also participate in diverse physiological and growing processes in plants. Prior to this study, a plenty of WRKY...
