چکیده
Population structure and relationship information among goats is critical for genetic improvement, utilization, conservation. This study explored population level of introgression four goat breeds in Kenya: the indigenous Galla (n = 12) three imported breeds, Alpine 29), Toggenburg 31), Saanen 24). Genetic diversity was analyzed using indices (polymorphic SNPs, mean allele frequency, observed expected heterozygosity inbreeding coefficient) within each breed. assessed model-based clustering (ADMIXTURE) revealed according to their geographic regions Kenya. Kenyan were most admixed breed with about 10 % its genome derived from Galla, 6 respectively. The association other anticipated since used as founder crossbreeding Saanen, breeds. evaluated by computing Reynolds distance five distinctive clusters: Alpine, some mixture Toggenburg. seem be genetically distinct sampled populations. variation populations will provide a good opportunity sustainable conservation, future resource improvement programmes

Mitochondrial Diversity and Phylogenetic Structure of Marghoz Goat Population
The genetic diversity and phylogenetic structure was analyzed in Marghoz goat population by mitochondrial DNA sequences. Phylogenetic analysis was carried out using hyper variable region 1 (968 bp) obtained form 40 animals. Marghoz goat proved to be extremely diverse (average haplotype diversity of 0.999) and the nucleotide diversity values 0.022. A total of 40 Marghoz goats were grouped into s...

The genetic structure and diversity of 15 Chinese indigenous chicken breeds was investigated using 29 microsatellite markers. The total number of birds examined was 542, on average 36 birds per breed. A total of 277 alleles (mean number 9.55 alleles per locus, ranging from 2 to 25) was observed. All populations showed high levels of heterozygosity with the lowest estimate of 0.440 for the Gushi...

Genetic Diversity and Phylogenetic Relationship between Indigenous Cattle Breeds
Zebu breeds of cattle from southern part of India are well known for their adaptability to extreme climatic conditions, draught efficiency, disease resistance and poor nutritional environment. Selection of appropriate populations for conservation of such genetic resources is needed in view of preventing rapid erosion of animal genetic resources. Estimation of genetic diversity is essential to d...
