چکیده
The present investigation was carried out to assess the genetic variability parameters, correlation and path analysis in 23 rice genotypes for 13 quantitative traits viz Days 50% flowering, Maturity, Plant height (cm), Flag Leaf Length Width Number of total tillers, Productive Tillers, Panicle Biomass (g), Harvest Index (%), Grains per Panicle, Test Weight (1000 grain weight), Grain Yield (g). Kharif 2021 season at field experimentation centre, Department Genetics Breeding, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture Technology Sciences, Uttar Pradesh Randomized Block Design three replications. Analysis variance indicated high significant differences among all traits. Genotypes SHIATS DHAN-6, KSRV-12, DHAN-2, KSRV-140 depicted highest Plant. All characters had expressed estimates heritability. There is no evidence expressing moderate low heritability from investigation. studies on GCV PCV that presence amount variation role environment expression these yield attributing revealed plant positively significantly associated both genotypic phenotypic levels. In Phenotypic Genotypic a detailed diagonal values showed positive direct effect Yield.

GENETIC VARIABILITY, HERITABILITY AND CORRELATION COEFFICIENTS OF GRAIN QUALITY CHARACTERS IN RICE (Oryza sativa L.)
Ninety-two rice (Oryza sativa L.) genotypes were evaluated during kharif 2013 to estimate the genetic variability, heritability and correlation coefficients for 14 physicochemical and cooking quality traits. The experiment was conducted in a complete randomized block design with 3 replications. Highly significant (P < 0.01) differences were observed for all 14 quality characters studied. Among ...

Water deficit is an important factor limiting crop growth all over the world. In order to evaluate genetic variation, heritability and the interrelationship between agronomic traits, twenty chickpea genotypes were cultivated in two separated randomized complete block experiments with three replications under normal irrigated and rainfed conditions. The experiments were carried out at the Agricu...

The study was conducted to evaluate the extent of variability among the small grain aromatic (SGA) rice (Oryza sativa L.) genotypes for yield and yield components. Twenty four popular SGA rice genotypes were evaluated for yield and yield contributing characters in BRAC Agricultural Research and Development Centre, Gazipur, Bangladesh. BRRI dhan34 was used as check variety. Highest grain yield p...

Association analysis was applied to a panel of accessions of Embrapa Rice Core Collection (ERiCC) with 86 SSR and field data from two experiments. A clear subdivision between lowland and upland accessions was apparent, thereby indicating the presence of population structure. Thirty-two accessions with admixed ancestry were identified through structure analysis, these being discarded from associ...
