Gender and Age Differences in the Relationship between Sensation-Seeking and Sexual Risk-Taking Behavior among Adolescents

The study examined gender and age differences in the relationship between sensation seeking sexual risk behaviors among secondary school students Kenya. was conducted Kisumu Municipality. chosen as it is one of leading regions HIV prevalence, estimated at 15%. prevalence assumed to indicate a positive high risk-taking behavior. There also existed significant sensation-seeking behavior, with male being higher risk-takers than their female counterparts. Similarities reported. However, this varied across ages different gender.
