Gel-induced dew condensation

Hydrogels are known to adsorb a large amount of vapor and liquid water, making them good candidates enhance the dew condensed from atmosphere. Although water adsorption invasion in hydrogels have been object many studies, condensation has only little investigated. We address here process on hydrogel grains widely used agriculture (Aquasorb 3005TM). show that condensing is enhanced when compared regular bare substrate due adsorption, which adds condensation. Hydrogels, can both capture by condense with high efficiency, thus harvest atmosphere higher yield than surfaces.
