چکیده

Endoscopic ultrasonography is usually used in the diagnosis of subepithelial tumors but requires special equipment and expertise, which can be obstacles some clinics. Transabdominal an easily available diagnostic tool for diagnosing gastric tumors. Hydroultrasonography depict all five layers stomach wall. On ultrasonography, lipoma recognized as a well demarcated hyperechoic mass mainly located submucosal layer. The ectopic pancreas well-demarcated, oval, heterogeneous, hypoechoic mucosal layers. We diagnosed via abdominal after patient drank water.

Splenic Cyst Mimicking Gastric Subepithelial Tumor Diagnosed by Endoscopic Ultrasonography

Recent research reveal that the diagnosis of gastric extraluminal compressions mimicking subepithelial tumor is increasing in numbers as esophagogastroduodenoscopy becomes widespread. Endoscopic ultrasonography is a very useful tool for differentiating extraluminal compressions from subepithelial tumors. Gastric extraluminal compressions are due to compression by either normal adjacent organs o...

Gastric Schwannoma Diagnosed by Endoscopic Ultrasonography-Guided Trucut Biopsy

Schwannomas of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract are rare subepithelial tumors comprising approximately 3.3% to 12.8% of all mesenchymal tumors of the GI tract. On endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) they are seen as hypoechoic tumors arising most commonly from the 4th proper muscle layer. Although EUS helps to distinguish tumor characteristics, tissue sampling is required for differentiation with other ...

She had a past medical history of Diamond-Blackfan syndrome status post bone marrow transplant, and recurrent acute pancreatitis status post total pancreatectomy with splenectomy 4 years before presentation. Endosc...
