چکیده
Abstract Seismic bottom simulating reflections (BSR) analysis and seismic inversion are commonly used for gas hydrate reservoir interpretation. The relationship between saturation elastic parameters can be influenced by occurrence state (e.g. pore-filling type or load-bearing hydrate), this may cause inaccurate We first the simplified three-phase Biot equation (STPBE) to model a formation containing two types of at same time. Then effects authigenic minerals on varied analysed. Results show that bulk modulus (K), shear ($\mu $), P-wave velocity (${V}_p$), S-wave (${V}_s$), ratio (${V}_p/{V}_s$), Poisson's (v) $\mu \rho $ increase different rates with saturation, ${V}_p/{V}_s$ v relative higher sensitivity state. Ratios parameter increments further highlight anomalies caused hydrate. Four attributes ($\Delta K/\Delta \mu $, $\Delta {V}_p/\Delta {V}_s$, ({V}_p/{V}_s)/\Delta \nu \lambda /\Delta $) good both distinguish states from (limestone, opal, pyrite others). Two selected sensitive applied well logs, four hydrate-bearing intervals in 2L-38 Mallik permafrost area Canada one interval A Shenhu South China Sea identified. These results consistent interpreted result resistivity log using Archie's formula. This investigation provide effective tools interpretation reservoirs.

Methane hydrate rock physics models for the Blake Outer Ridge
Seismic analyses of methane hydrate data from the Blake Outer Ridge indicate high Pwave velocity and anomalously low S-wave velocity in sediments containing methane hydrates. In an attempt to explain this observed P-wave and S-wave velocity structure at the transition from gas to hydrates, the effect of different hydrate models on elastic moduli and velocities are explored. After construction o...

A total of 183 core and cutting samples from seven exploratory wells were selected to be analyzed by Rock-Eval pyrolysis. These cores have been drilled through the Lam and Meem Members of the Madbi Formation and contain the major source rocks of Yemen´s sedimentary basins. Contents of total organic carbon were measured and Rock-Eval pyrolysis was performed to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential ...
