G4CMP: Condensed matter physics simulation using the Geant4 toolkit

G4CMP simulates phonon and charge transport in cryogenic semiconductor crystals using the Geant4 toolkit. The code is capable of simulating propagation acoustic phonons as well electron hole carriers. Processes for anisotropic propagation, oblique charge-carrier emission by accelerated carriers are included. simulation reproduces theoretical predictions experimental observations such caustics, heat-pulse times, mean drift velocities. In addition to presenting physics features supported G4CMP, this report outlines example applications from dark matter quantum information science communities. These communities applying model design devices which energy transported germane performance superconducting instruments circuits placed on silicon germanium substrates. package available download GitHub: github.com/kelseymh/G4CMP.
