Fuzzy Logic Control and PID Controller for Brushless Permanent Magnetic Direct Current Motor: A Comparative Study

Electrical machines based on permanent magnet material excitations have been applied in many sectors since they are distinguished by their high torque-to-size ratio and offer efficiency. Brushless magnetic direct current (BLPMDC) motors one type of these machines. They preferable over conventional DC motors. the main challengings BLPMDC motor drives is inherited feature nonlinearity. Therefore, a PID controller would not be an efficient choice for speed control such The object this paper to design motor. proposed Fuzzy logic technique. MATLAB/ Simulink has employed test drive system. Simulations were carried out three cases, first without controller, other using control, third expert systems. results proved possibility improving engine's working performance also that adoption systems better than traditional nonlinear simulation response shows Rise Time(tr) at equals 66.306ms, while it 19.530ms controller.
