Fuzzy Logic based Intrusion Detection System against Black Hole Attack in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

A Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) is a group of mobile nodes that rely on wireless network interfaces, without the use fixed infrastructure or centralized administration. In this respect, these networks are very susceptible to numerous attacks. One attacks black hole attack and it considered as one most affected kind MANET. Consequently, an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) has major importance in MANET protection. paper, new scheme been proposed by using Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference (ANFIS) Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for ad detect current activities. Evaluations extracted database from simulated Network Simulator NS2 demonstrate effectiveness our approach, comparison optimized IDS based ANFIS-GA.
