Fundamental Motor Skills of Public and Private School Children

The purpose of this study was to classify and compare the fundamental motor skills (FMS) children from public private schools verify compatibility FMS with students’ chronological age. Participants were 81 healthy (10.6±1.2 years). TGMD-2 used evaluate FMS. Private school students had a higher score on locomotor subtest than (p=.032), no difference object control (p=.733). Gross Motor Quotient indicated that both presented similar performance ratings classified as “very poor”, “poor” “below average”. For subtests, all schoolchildren equivalent age lower their Students delay in development, while demonstrated greater efficiency
