چکیده
Abstract We examine possible ways of functional adjustment morphologically similar alimentary tracts in rodents with different dietary specializations. study the structure stomach and gut epithelial surface as well features its colonization microorganisms five gerbil species: Psammomys obesus, Meriones crassus, Gerbillus henleyi, G. andersoni , dasyurus . Data on morphological diversity mucosa-associated microbiota have been obtained confirmed by results previous microbiology studies. Species differences chymus acidity associated specialization determined. Variations activity endoglucanase microbial enzyme, which is crucial for fed cellulose-containing food, also detected. The importance adaptations to various food types digestive has evaluated.

Species metabolic patterns in morphologically similar gram negative pathogens.
The morphological, cultural, biochemical, an(l nutritional characteristics of many of the species of microorganisms that are classified within the genera of Moraxella, Neisseria, Brucella, and Bordetella are so similar that identification of small gram negative organisms is both tedious and difficult. This impressive similarity that exists between species, and even between genera, is probably i...

The aim of the study was to investigate affecting environmental factors on functional diversity indices and species diversity for the fluctuation of the management according to the ecological conditions in Raver rangeland. To determine the functional attributes of rangeland plants, 12 height points were selected along elevation gradient those were distance between them100 meters. 5 sampling plo...
متن کاملBacterial diversity of bacteriomes and organs of reproductive, digestive and excretory systems in two cicada species (Hemiptera: Cicadidae)
Cicadas form intimate symbioses with bacteria to obtain nutrients that are scarce in the xylem fluid they feed on. The obligate symbionts in cicadas are purportedly confined to specialized bacteriomes, but knowledge of bacterial communities associated with cicadas is limited. Bacterial communities in the bacteriomes and organs of reproductive, digestive and excretory systems of two cicada speci...
متن کاملContrasting Ecosystem-Effects of Morphologically Similar Copepods
Organisms alter the biotic and abiotic conditions of ecosystems. They can modulate the availability of resources to other species (ecosystem engineering) and shape selection pressures on other organisms (niche construction). Very little is known about how the engineering effects of organisms vary among and within species, and, as a result, the ecosystem consequences of species diversification a...
متن کاملMutations affecting development of zebrafish digestive organs.
The zebrafish gastrointestinal system matures in a manner akin to higher vertebrates. We describe nine mutations that perturb development of these organs. Normally, by the fourth day postfertilization the digestive organs are formed, the epithelial cells of the intestine are polarized and express digestive enzymes, the hepatocytes secrete bile, and the pancreatic islets and acini generate immun...
