Fulcrum Rateless Multicast Distributed Coding Design

Establishing reliable and efficient multicast services in heterogeneous networks under an erasure channel is one of the current priorities coding theory, particularly Network Coding (NC) over data networks. Additionally, increasing number clients with mobile devices high processing capabilities prevalence non-delay tolerant traffic have led to demand for non-feedback schemes regarding distributed resource management. Current communication platforms lack gradual dynamic control based on type being transmitted. This paper proposes a transmission scheme concatenation systematic Random Linear (RLNC) called Fulcrum coding. hybrid rateless characteristics allows implementation adaptive management system increase decoding probability during reception. The method ultimately results higher network throughput shorter times (RTT) per packet by implementing Forward Error Correction (FEC).
