Free-running data acquisition system for the AMBER experiment

Triggered data acquisition systems provide only limited possibilities of triggering methods. In our paper, we propose a novel approach that completely removes the hardware trigger and its logic. It introduces an innovative free-running mode instead, which provides unprecedented to physics experiments. We would like present such system, is being developed for AMBER experiment at CERN. based on intelligent framework including FPGA modules advanced software processing. The system triggerless allows more time filtering implementation complex algorithms. Moreover, it utilises custom protocol optimized needs system. procedure takes place in server farm playing role highlevel trigger. For this purpose, introduce high-performance providing algorithms load balancing cope with excessive rates. Furthermore, paper also describes filter pipeline as well simulation chain used production artificial data, testing, validation.
