چکیده
This paper presents a method to improve the laser bonding joint strength between carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite (CFRTP) and aluminum alloy (Al). In this method, CFRTP with preset sheet is attained by compression molding after polyetheretherketone (PEEK) cloth. The connected heat source, maximum load of can reach 4264 N. Microstructure fracture surface morphology are observed analyzed. results indicate that interface reveals an extensive diffusion elements compared due effect hot pressing. failure mode lap structure mixed adhesion as main component. position near weld seam fusion line, numerous dimples found on alloy. increase in force mainly attributed collective two structures; during stretching process, first undergoes fracture, then, plastic failure.

The Effects of Forming Parameters on the Single Point Incremental Forming of 1050 Aluminum Alloy Sheet
The single point incremental forming (SPIF) is one of the dieless forming processes which is widely used in the sheet metal forming. The correct selection of the SPIF parameters influences the formability and quality of the product. In the present study, the Gurson-Tvergaard Needleman (GTN) damage model was used for the fracture prediction in the numerical simulation of the SPIF process of alum...
متن کاملEFFECT OF THE INCLINED COOLING PLATE CHARACTERISTICS ON THE THIXOTROPIC MICROSTRUCTURE OF A356.0 ALUMINUM ALLOY
In the present work microstructural evolution of A356 Aluminum alloy using an inclined cooling plate casting process for thixoforming feedstock production is investigated. The resultant microstructure was evaluated and compared with those of the same alloy produced by the conventional casting process, i.e. directly cast in the same mold without using an inclined cooling plate. It was found that...
متن کاملThe piezoresistance of aluminum alloy interconnect structures
The effects of applied strain on the resistivity of Al thin film metallization interconnects have been measured with a novel methodology that uses thermal expansion mismatch to produce the strain. The interconnect volumetric strain is induced by thermal cycling of passivated and unpassivated interconnects between '70 and 373 K. The coefficient of piezoresistivity, defined as dr/dev, where r5res...
متن کاملApplication of the GTN Model in Ductile Fracture Prediction of 7075-T651 Aluminum Alloy
In this paper the capability of Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN) model in the prediction of ductile damage in 7075-T651 aluminum alloy is investigated. For this purpose, three types of specimens were tested: Standard tensile bars, Round notched bar (RNB) specimens and compact tension (C(T)) specimens. Standard tensile bar tests were used to obtain the mechanical properties of the material and t...
متن کاملCrack Behavior of the Aluminum Alloy 2024 Under Fretting Conditions
The initial stage of fretting fatigue crack growth is significantly influenced by tangential force induced by fretting action along the contact surface where a mixed-mode crack growth is involved. Fretting crack behavior of aluminum alloy 2024 was studied, taking into account the problem of contact asperities. Finite element was used for the determination of the stress field near the contact su...
