Kesehatan merupakan aspek penting yang dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan setiap orang. Salah satu cara efektif untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh adalah kebersihan yaitu tangan. Tangan salah jalur penularan berbagai penyakit menular seperti gangguan usus dan pencernaan (diare muntah) lainnya. praktis dalam pencegahan dilakukan dengan menggunakan hand sanitizer sebagai pengganti cuci Metode penelitian ini eksperimental. Penelitian meliputi, pembuatan orientasi basis gel, menformulasikan ekstrak etanol daun sirih hijau 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% sediaan gel sanitizer, uji evaluasi meliputi organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, stabilitas, iritasi pada kulit. Hasil menunjukkan esktrak (Piper betle Linn.) diformulasikan bentuk stabil baik fisik sediaan, sebar serta tidak menimbulkan Uji organoleptik diperoleh semua F0 memiliki warna putih sedangkan formula 1 sampai 4 kuning kehijauan, homogenitas hasil homogen formula, pH nilai berkisar antara 4-5, sebardiperoleh (Blanko) 6 cm, F1 (5%) 6,5 F3 (15%) cm F4 (20%) 5,5 stabilitas stabil, menyebabkan
