Formulasi dan Evaluasi Stabilitas Fisik Sediaan Krim Senyawa Astaxanthin

This study aims to formulate and evaluate the preparation of an anti-aging cream made from astaxanthin. Astaxanthin has antioxidant activity, as well other carotenoid compounds. shows more significant activity than ?-carotene; thus,developing astaxanthin compounds in preparations is necessary. type experimental laboratory research compares three different concentrations compounds, including formula I (0.5%), II (0.75%), III (1%). Evaluation compound stability included organoleptic observations (smell, color, texture), pH test, homogeneity viscosity spreadability adhesion freeze-thaw test. The results quality inspection revealed no difference between form smell, texture.The test showed a homogeneous preparation; produced was 5.5-5.8, 5140 Cp, 5250 7000 6.40-7.83 seconds, dispersion 5-5.9 cm, Freeze-thaw that there change spreadability, adhesion, homogeneity, viscosity. Thus, it can be concluded formulas have good stability.
