FORMULASI DAN EVALUASI NANOEMULSI EKSTRAK DAUN KEMANGI (Ocimum basilicum L.) DENGAN VARIASI KONSENTRASI TWEEN 80

Pendahuluan: Nanoemulsi adalah sistem emulsi transparan, terdiri dari campuran minyak dan air, serta molekul surfaktan untuk menstabilkannya. Ukuran partikel nanoemulsi berkisar antara 10-200 nm. Kandungan alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, saponin eugenol pada daun kemangi bermanfaat sebagai antibakteri. Tujuan penelitian ini mengevaluasi stabilitas fisik formulasi ekstrak menggunakan tween 80 dengan konsentrasi 36%, 37% 38%. Metode: Penelitian desain eksperimental mengetahui sediaan membuat tiga perbedaan (36%, 38%) dilakukan evaluasi uji organoleptis, pH, viskositas, transmitan, penentuan (ukuran indeks polidispersitas) (sentrifugasi freeze thawing). Hasil: Hasil F1, F2 F3 mempunyai rata-rata ukuran 14,43 nm, 14,73 nm 15 polidispersitas sebesar 0,38, 0,42 0,37. Ketiga formula berwarna coklat, jernih, berbau khas kemangi, memiliki nilai persen transmitan diatas 90%. sentrifugasi semua tidak terjadi pemisahan fase thawing hasil yang didapat mengalami perubahan warna, bau fase. tetap stabil selama masa penyimpanan 2 minggu. Kesimpulan: 36% F1 merupakan terbaik karakteristik jernih coklat terang, pH 6,24, viskositas 1333,33-1416,67 cP, 96,7%, 0,38. Tetap setelah pengujian thawing.
