Formation of keyhole and lack of fusion pores during the laser powder bed fusion process

چکیده

During the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process, keyhole pores or lack of may form depending on energy density used to fabricate part. In this study, different levels densities are investigate formed within 2.5 mm × 1 cuboid specimen. Micro-CT is characterize and measure pores, results show that porosity increases with an increase in density, while a decrease density. Besides, metallography performed observe melt profile 2D pores. The result deep penetration melting track. contrast, between tracks, due incomplete improper overlap scan tracks.
