Control of Systems with Time-varying Delays
The paper presents a model-based control design method linear systems with time-varying delays. The design is based on pole placement of input-output models. Furthermore, the design of an output feedback controller is divided into two independent design tasks: a predictor design and a feedback design for nondelayed output.
متن کاملADAPTIVE FUZZY TRACKING CONTROL FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR SYSTEMS WITH UNKNOWN DISTRIBUTED TIME-VARYING DELAYS AND UNKNOWN CONTROL DIRECTIONS
In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control scheme is proposed for a class of perturbed strict-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown discrete and distributed time-varying delays, and the proposed design method does not require a priori knowledge of the signs of the control gains.Based on the backstepping technique, the adaptive fuzzy controller is constructed. The main contributions of the paper...
متن کاملStability analysis of systems with time-varying delays via the second-order Bessel-Legendre inequality
This paper is concerned with the delay-dependent stability of systems with time-varying delays. The novelty relies on the use of the second-order Bessel-Legendre integral inequality which is less conservative than the Jensen and Wirtinger-based inequalities. Unlike similar contributions, the features of this inequality are fully integrated into the construction of augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii ...
متن کاملSecond-Order Multiagent Systems with Event-Driven Consensus Control
and Applied Analysis 3 defined as f(e(t), x(t), V(t)) = 0, where x(t), V(t) ∈ Rn are, respectively, the concatenation vector of the state variables in system (3). All agents update their consensus controls u i (t) at a series of event-times τ(s) (s = 0, 1, . . .) which are implicitly defined by f(e(τ(s)), x(τ(s)), V(τ(s))) = 0. Between control updates at two consecutive event-times, the eventdr...
متن کاملMixed H2/Hinfinity output-feedback control of second-order neutral systems with time-varying state and input delays.
A mixed H2/Hinfinity output-feedback control design methodology is presented in this paper for second-order neutral linear systems with time-varying state and input delays. Delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the design of a desired control are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A controller, which guarantees asymptotic stability and a mixed H2/Hinfinity performance for ...
