چکیده
Abstract Salinity stress and the absence of light negatively impact growth development plants. Morpho-physiological biochemical attributes maize ( Zea mays L.) get severely affected by salt subdue light. Therefore, a pot experiment was conducted under prevailing environmental conditions Turbat, Balochistan, to explore etiolation de-etiolation response hybrid (SP-17S23) salinity exogenous application plant regulators (PGRs). Maize seedlings in three sets, i.e., non-etiolated, etiolated, de-etiolated, subjected (120 mM NaCl) after 15 days seed germination. After week, were sprayed with optimized levels different PGRs, including thiourea (TU; 10 mM), salicylic acid (SA; 250 µM), kinetin (KIN; 3 µM). hampered morpho-physiological attributes. However, PGRs foliar treatment proved effective, thus ameliorating on seedlings. Growth (root/shoot length, leaf area, root/shoot fresh dry weight), photosynthetic pigments (Chl a, b carotenoids) significantly enhanced especially TU KIN treatments. oxidative damage parameters, malondialdehyde (MDA) hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O ), decreased thereby protecting etiolated conditions. Overall, tolerance potential plants consideration variations remain key concern for developing healthy vigor seedling strands.

Effects of Foliar Application of Salicylic Acid on Growth and Physiological Attributes of Cowpea under Water Stress Conditions
The possible alleviating effects of salicylic acid on protection of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) cv. Parastu under water stress conditions were investigated in the University of Zanjan Agriculture Research Station during 2008. Water stress was imposed by withholding irrigation at 50% flowering (flowering water stress, FWS) and when 50% of the pods grew 2-3cm (pod-formation water stress, PFWS). Sa...

BACKGROUND Salicylic acid (SA) acts as a potential non-enzymatic antioxidant and a plant growth regulator, which plays a major role in regulating various plant physiological mechanisms. The effects of salicylic acid (SA; 0.05 mM) on physiological parameters, antioxidative capacity and phenolic metabolism, lignin, alkaloid accumulation in salt stressed Catharanthus roseus were investigated. The effects of salicylic acid (SA) on growth and metabolism of Brassica oleracea var. Capitata under salt stress was studied in a hydroponic culture. NaCl at 50 mM concentration and SA at 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5mM concentrations were used as treatments. The results showed that salt exhibited inhibitory effects on shoot and root length, fresh and dry weight, and RWC of the seedlings. NaCl at 50 mM co...

متن کاملKinetin modulates physio-hormonal attributes and isoflavone contents of Soybean grown under salinity stress
Crop productivity continues to decline due to a wide array of biotic and abiotic stresses. Salinity is one of the worst abiotic stresses, as it causes huge losses to crop yield each year. Kinetin (Kn) has been reported as plant growth regulator since long, but its role in improving plant growth and food quality under saline conditions through mediating phytohormonal cross-talk is poorly studied...
