Fluctuation assisted collapses of Bose–Einstein condensates

We study the collapse dynamics of a Bose-Einstein condensate subjected to sudden change scattering length negative value by adopting self-consistent Gaussian state theory for mixed states. Compared Gross-Pitaevskii and Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approaches, both fluctuations three-body loss are properly treated in our theory. find new type assisted which amplify attractive interaction between atoms. Moreover, calculation fluctuated atoms, entropy, second-order correlation function showed that collapsed gas was significantly deviated from pure state.
