چکیده

Abstract This study shows a taxonomic treatment for all species of Bignonieae from the state Pernambuco (Brazil). Through extensive herbarium and field work, we documented 42 13 genera Pernambuco, which six represent new records (i.e., Adenocalymma coriaceum, Anemopaegma gracile, velutinum, Bignonia sciuripabulum, Callichlamys latifolia Fridericia cuneifolia). In addition, citrinum was first time in Atlantic Forest domain. We provide identification keys species, descriptions, data on geographic distribution, habitat, phenology, illustrations species.

Two new species of Tynanthus Miers (Bignonieae, Bignoniaceae) from Brazil

Tynanthus is a genus of lianas that is broadly distributed through the Neotropics. Two new species of Tynanthus from Brazil are here described and illustrated: Tynanthusdensiflorus, from Amazonas, and Tynanthusespiritosantensis, from Espírito Santo. Tynanthusdensiflorus is recognized by the conspicuous interpetiolar glandular fields, a feature rarely found in Tynanthus, and the dense thyrses. T...

Dolichandra is a genus of lianas found in dry and wet Neotropical forests. The genus currently includes eight species and is well characterized by molecular and morphological synapomorphies. Here, Macfadyenahispida (DC.) Seemann is removed from synonomy with Dolichandrauncata (Andrews) L.G. Lohmann based on the presence of the hispid indument, vinaceus ovary, long fruits, and winged seeds. The ...

Primers for phylogeny reconstruction in Bignonieae (Bignoniaceae) using herbarium samples1

UNLABELLED PREMISE OF THE STUDY New primers were developed for Bignonieae to enable phylogenetic studies within this clade using herbarium samples. • METHODS AND RESULTS Internal primers were designed based on available sequences of the plastid ndhF gene and the rpl32-trnL intergenic spacer region, and the nuclear gene PepC. The resulting primers were used to amplify DNA extracted from her...
