Flokulasi Mikroalga Nannochloropsis oculata Menggunakan Kitosan dan pengoptimalan pH

N. oculata merupakan salah satu jenis mikroalga yang memiliki kandungan nutisi tinggi seperti karbohidrat, protein, lipid, dan asam amino, sehingga banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku biodiesel, suplemen pakan ternak, dll. ukuran sel sangat kecil yakni berkisar 2-8 µm sulit mengendap. Faktor tersebut membuat menjadi untuk dipanen. Salah cara efisien pemanenan adalah metode flokulasi pengoptimalan pH. Bahan flokulan digunakan kitosan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari efektivitas konsentrasi kitosan oculata. Metode eksperimen laboratorium, rancangan faktorial dua faktor (Kitosan pH). Tahapan pelaksanaan dimulai dari kultur pada wadah toples kaca selama 6 hari, diikuti dengan flokulasi, pengumpulan data, analisis data. Penelitian menggunakan perlakuan, optimalisasi Perlakuan dikelompokkan tiga diantaranya 15, 20, 25 ppm masing-masing 3 kali pengulangan, sedangkan pH akhir 10. Ketika berlangsung sampel diambil menit ke 0, 40 mengukur efisiensi flokulasinya.
