FLOCponics: The integration of biofloc technology with plant production

FLOCponics is an alternative type of aquaponics that integrates biofloc technology (BFT) with soilless plant production. The aims this paper are to present a detailed overview the system's designs and performance, discuss their sustainability, highlight current challenges, give directions for future research. Data sources include papers containing keywords bioflocs hydroponics, and/or In view small number publications lack standardization in experimental design system setup, it was concluded still its initial research stage.
