چکیده
Prestressed, precast concrete piles using High-Strength Steel Strands (PPCPs HSSS) are a new type of pile. Compared with prestressed high-strength (PHC) piles, the adoption ultra-high-strength and HSSS not only improves load-bearing capacity, but also enhances ductility piles. The engineering application PPCPs requires high bearing capacity pile segments, reliable splicing to ensure cooperation between segments. Based on characteristics strand anchorage plates, this paper proposes combination splice clamp ring welding (Combination Splice). theoretical analysis design method Combination Splice is introduced. This research gives thorough investigation into flexural performance Splice. tests were firstly conducted eight full-scale specimens three different diameters four steel reinforcement ratios. performances evaluated in terms crack resistance, capacities, distribution, as well strain development. results indicate that remain safe intact when reach ultimate bending capacity. moment tested is, average, 10% larger than formula. In light experimental data, finite element (FEA) model has been created simulate FEA show load–displacement curves distribution regions good agreement findings, which verifies reliability accuracy model. parameter investigates effects assembly gap corrosion HSSS. gaps have greater influence deformation, while negligible, indicating certain advantages durability.

Flexural Performance of High-strength Prestressed Concrete-encased Concrete-filled Steel Tube Sections
The sections composed of concrete and steel, which include concrete-encased concrete-filled tubes, generally have defects due to the low tensile strength of concrete. Therefore, an appropriate method was used for the combination of concrete-filled tubes (CFT) and prestressing strands which is encased in concrete. The conventional design guidelines are commonly developed for materials with norma...

Article history: Received: 11. 09. 2013. Received in revised form: 01. 10. 2013. Accepted: 15. 10. 2013. Researches into the constitutive relation of the super high strength and high performance concrete and the stress strain relationship of the ultrastrength concrete-filled steel columns are rare. Therefore, this paper based on continuous mechanics presents the relationship of mathematical des...
متن کاملFlexural Behaviour of Precast, Prestressed Ribbed RPC Bottom Panels
This study introduces a new type of precast, prestressed reactive powder concrete (RPC) bottom panel for a large-span composite slab. The bottom panels, which have one or two inverted ribs with openings, act as formwork during the construction stage. The paper experimentally investigated the crack characteristics, deflection, and normal section bearing capacity of four precast, prestressed ribb...
