چکیده
In this work, novel physical layer security (PLS) schemes are proposed for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) to secure both data and pilots in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. The majority of previous studies focus on only securing the without considering used channel estimation. However, leakage state information (CSI) from a legitimate node an eavesdropper allows latter acquire knowledge about nodes. To end, we propose adaptive flexible PLS algorithms which can 1) data, 2) pilots, 3) jointly pilots. Particularly, minimum-phase all-pass decomposition is exploited, where use component provide harming performance user. analysis security, evaluate secrecy under correlated uncorrelated eavesdropping channels via closed-form bit error rate (BER) formulas. For pilot analyze estimated channel’s normalized mean squared (NMSE) performance. simulation results theoretical demonstrate that effectively enhance communication overall system.

Physical Layer Security in Wireless Communication Networks
Physical layer (PHY) security has become an emerging area of research recently. Wireless networks use unguided medium as communication channels, so gathering wireless data transmission is easier when compared to traditional cable systems. With the rise of new security challenges, many different solutions have been offered and are being developed. However, maintaining security in wireless networ...

A wireless network of multiple transmitter-user pairs overheard by an eavesdropper, where the transmitters are equipped with multiple antennas while the users and eavesdropper are equipped with a single antenna, is considered. At different levels of wireless channel knowledge, the problem of interest is beamforming to optimize the users’ quality-of-service (QoS) in terms of their secrecy throug...
متن کاملWireless Physical Layer Security
Security in wireless networks has traditionally been considered to be an issue to be addressed separately from the physical radio transmission aspects of wireless systems. However, with the emergence of new networking architectures that are not amenable to traditional methods of secure communication such as data encryption, there has been an increase in interest in the potential of the physical...
متن کاملPhysical layer security in wireless networks : design and enhancement
Security and privacy have become increasingly significant concerns in wireless communication networks, due to the open nature of the wireless medium which makes the wireless transmission vulnerable to eavesdropping and inimical attacking. The emergence and development of decentralized and ad-hoc wireless networks pose great challenges to the implementation of higher-layer key distribution and m...
متن کاملTradeoff between Delay and Physical Layer Security in Wireless Networks
Exchange of crucial and confidential information leads to the unprecedented attention on the security problem in wireless networks. Though the security has been studied in a number of works, the joint optimization of the physical layer security and the end-to-end delay management, which requires a meticulous cross-layer design, has seldom been evaluated. In this work, by combining the tools fro...
