Flexible and environment-friendly regenerated cellulose/MoS2 nanosheet nanogenerators with high piezoelectricity and output performance

Flexible piezoelectric nanogenerators for energy harvesting are getting more and attention nowadays by converting the mechanical to electric energy. Here, an environment-friendly nanogenerator based on regenerated cellulose (RC)/MoS2 nanosheet nanocomposite successfully exhibited a relative high output voltage of 2 V current 150 nA under slight press which were 5 7.5 times higher than those neat RC film, i.e. 0.4 20 nA, respectively. In particular, MoS2 nanosheets obtained through simple, facile low-cost pathway exfoliation in triethanolamine. The film with content 4% constant (d33) 19 pC/N, was 6.3 that (i.e. 3 pC/N). Thus, RC/MoS2 has great potential applications fields harvester, sensors is significance environment protection.
