چکیده
Mercury chloride is a common heavy metal found in the environment, and it endangers both environment living organisms. The study aimed to show whether Flavonoids Fractions of Adansonia digitata (FAD) could protect rats from HgCl2-induced hepatorena toxicity. Thirty (30) were randomly assigned one six groups. first group was given no HgCl2 as control, while second single daily dose (0.5 mg/kg). treatment groups (III, IV, V) received mg/kg) along with 25 mg/kg, 50 75 mg/kg FAD, respectively. Group VI, Ascorbic Acid (200 standard control. After administration, blood serum experimental used for biochemical analysis. liver kidney organs obtained histological examination. AST, ALP, ALT, urea, creatinine, MDA levels all increased (group II), decreased SOD, CAT, GSH (p < 0.001), whereas FAD able prevent upsurge Urea, MDA. It also body. protected glomerulus degeneration prevented steatosis.

Protective Role of Adansonia digitata Extract Against Glyphosate-induced Hepatorenal Toxicity in Adult Male Wistar Rats
Background: Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide, and it poses numerous health risks to the environment and living organisms. This study aimed at assessing the protective role of Adansonia digitata (A. digitata) on glyphosate-induced hepatorenal toxicity in a Wistar rat model. Methods: Twenty-five rats were randomly divided into five groups of five animals each. The first group did not...

Objective: The present study was designed to investigate the protective effects of hydroalcoholic extract of Rheum turkestanicum against HgCl2 hepatorenal toxicity in rats. Materials and Methods: Animals were randomly divided into five groups (n= 6 in each group) and received HgCl2 and plant’s extract, intraperitoneally. Group1 received saline (1 mL/kg/day), group 2 received extract (200 mg/kg/...

Objectives: The natural origin of medicinal plants does not guaranteed their safety, as there are no sufficient studies on the safety, efficacy and toxicity to support their beneficial claims. Hence, this study aimed at investigating the oral acute toxicity of Adansonia digitata L. fruit shell extract on mice. Methods: Maceration method was employed for the extraction of Adansonia digitata fru...

The improvement of physical performance remain important for the sportsmen but controls related to the doping substances are intensifying. To improve this physical performance without doping it would be indicated to have resolt to the natural substances from food or medicinal plants. Adansonia digitata is widely used as vegetable in Togo and traditional healers advise currently young wrestlers i...
متن کاملSynthesis, Characterization and Antimicrobial Studies of Stem Bark Mediated Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles From Adansonia digitata (L.)
In the present study green synthesis of silver nanopartiles (SNPs) is prepared by using aqueous stem bark extract of Adansonia digitata (L.) as a reducing, stabilizing and capping agent. The synthesized SNPs are characterized by UV-VIS Spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, AFM, SEM with EDAX and TEM. Validation of SNPs was performed on 07 bacterial species and 05 fungal species. For preliminary conformation...
