چکیده
ObjectiveFenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair (FEVAR) is a well established treatment for complex abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs). FEVAR with custom made devices (CMDs) has limitations in both the emergency and elective settings due to time consuming manufacture. “Off shelf” (OTS) fenestrated stent grafts are potential solution. The primary goal was evaluate five year outcome of COOK Zenith p-Branch OTS device at single centre.MethodsPatients juxtarenal AAA meeting inclusion criteria were enrolled prospective, non-randomised, non-comparative trial from July 2012 September 2015. Demographic, anatomical, procedure related, follow up data collected, analysed, adjudicated by core laboratory. aims assess intervention free survival overall years.ResultsTwenty-three patients treated 21 completed up. Mean implantation after patient presentation 28 hours (range 0–122 hours) cases 67 days 20–112 days) cases. Median 283 minutes 161–475 minutes) technical success 91%. 45 months (standard deviation ± 24.4 months). most common adverse events renal injuries. Primary target vessel patency 96.4% 94.0% one years respectively. first re-intervention 469 0–1 567 days). Survival during period 76%, no related deaths.ConclusionFEVAR safe effective selected population, settings. Long term outcomes acceptable although inferior CMDs. Mid long emphasise as possible pathology where CMD not an option. Further innovation address complications needed, these seem more prevalent than Fenestrated centre. Patients years. Twenty-three deaths.

Pararenal aortic aneurysm repair using fenestrated endografts.
OBJECTIVE We performed a systematic review of the current literature to analyze the immediate and follow-up results of fenestrated endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (F-EVAR) in patients with pararenal abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs). METHODS The Medline, Embase, and Cochrane databases were searched to identify all studies reporting F-EVAR of pararenal AAAs published between January 2000 a...
متن کاملComparable mid-term survival in patients undergoing elective fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair and endovascular aneurysm repair for abdominal aortic aneurysm
OBJECTIVE To evaluate mid-term survival in patients undergoing elective fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair and standard endovascular aneurysm repair for abdominal aortic aneurysm. METHODS Consecutive patients treated from 2007 to 2011 with elective fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair (n = 81) and endovascular aneurysm repair (n = 201) were evaluated concerning age, cardiovascular m...

Abstract Background and Objectives Aortic aneurysm repair surgery (AAAs) is associated with massive bleeding that causes coagulation disorders during and after surgery. Considering that blood consumption in these patients has been studied in a few articles, we decided to investigate more. Materials and Methods In a cross-sectional study, patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms requiring surg...
متن کاملElective open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair: a seven-year experience
INTRODUCTION The seven-year experience of elective abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair of a vascular surgical unit in a teaching hospital was reviewed to determine the factors associated with in-hospital mortality. METHODS All patients who underwent elective open repair of an AAA between July 1, 1991, and June 30, 1998, were identified using International Classification of Diseases Ninth R...
متن کاملLong-term results of Talent endografts for endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair.
BACKGROUND Since the introduction of endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), long-term follow-up studies reporting single-device results are scarce. In this study, we focus on EVAR repair with the Talent stent graft (Medtronic, Santa Rosa, Calif). METHODS Between July 2000 and December 2007, 365 patients underwent elective EVAR with a Talent device. Patient data were gathered prospectively and e...
