First responders’ innovative methodology and curriculum definition for advanced virtual reality training

Within the ASSISTANCE Project (Adapted Situation Awareness Tools and Tailored Training Scenarios for Increasing Capabilities Enhancing Protection of First Responders) development a novel advanced training programme is currently underway to adapt needs characteristics first responders. Once methodology was ready, complete curriculum prepared in order probe concept European network based on online Virtual Reality platforms. The composed subjects, which have been developed with stepwise approach, taking into consideration pre-requisites needed each subject gradual increase difficulty complexity. These subjects can be divided two different types: theoretical will taught through Moodle server practical performance virtual scenarios available Each definition includes short summary subject, their main, general specific objectives as well preferred evaluation method needed. This paper presents including preliminary scheduling all proposed subjects.
