The behavior of amputating the legs spider prey by Cyphononyx fulvognathus (Pepsini, Pepsinae, Pompilidae) is reported for first time. was a female Heteropoda, presumably H. venatoria (Araneae: Sparassidae), which also record Heteropoda this wasp species. present observation found to be one uncommon examples amputation Pompilidae, common in species Ageniellini (Pepsinae).
