First Record of Dactylonectria Alcacerensis That Cause Grapevine Black Foot Disease in Iraq

Two pathogenic isolates of the genus Dactylonectria associated with black foot disease grape rootstocks (2-3 years old) were identified in Duhok province, Iraq. The incidence recorded 67% on plants that lead to weaken or plant failure when severity exceeded 51%. This is characterized by dark brown necrotic lesions at bottom rootstocks, sparse foliage and growth reduction. molecular identification CD8 CD9 isolates, revealed they 100% identical D. alcacerensis, both deposited national center for biotechnology information (NCBI) under accession numbers ON129803 ON129804 respectively
