First comparative analysis of complete chloroplast genomes among six Hedysarum (Fabaceae) species

چکیده
Hedysarum is one of the largest genera in Fabaceae family, mainly distributed Northern Hemisphere. Despite numerous molecular studies on genus , there still a lack research aimed at defining specific characteristics chloroplast genome (cp genome) genus. Furthermore, interrelationships between sections based cp have not yet been studied. In this study, comprehensive analyses complete genomes six species, corresponding to Multicaulia and Stracheya were conducted. The H. drobovii flavescens lehmannianum sequenced for study. species showed high similarity with regard size (except taipeicum ), gene sequences, classes, as well lacking IR region. whole found contain 110 genes ranging from 121,176 bp 126,738 length, including 76 protein-coding genes, 4 rRNA 30 tRNA genes. addition, SSRs repetitive sequence regions reported each species. shared 7 common exhibited 14 unique SSRs. As well, three highly variable ( clpP, accD atpF ) Pi values detected among we conducted phylogenetic using legume seven results that form monophyletic clade closely related Onobrychis Alhagi . both our reconstructions section more than This study first work investigate which provides useful genetic information further genus, evolutionary studies, relationships, population genetics, identification.

Comparative Analysis of Six Lagerstroemia Complete Chloroplast Genomes
Crape myrtles are economically important ornamental trees of the genus Lagerstroemia L. (Lythraceae), with a distribution from tropical to northern temperate zones. They are positioned phylogenetically to a large subclade of rosids (in the eudicots) which contain more than 25% of all the angiosperms. They commonly bloom from summer till fall and are of significant value in city landscape and en...
متن کاملLoss of Chloroplast trnLUAA Intron in Two Species of Hedysarum (Fabaceae): Evolutionary Implications
Previous studies have indicated that in all land plants examined to date, the chloroplast gene trnLUAA isinterrupted by a single group I intron ranging from 250 to over 1400 bp. The parasitic Epifagus virginiana haslost, however, the entire gene. We report that the intron is missing from the chloroplast genome of twoarctic species of the legume genus Hedysarum (H. alpinum, H. ...
متن کاملThe Complete Chloroplast Genomes of Asteraceae Species
Until now, twenty-seven Asteraceae complete chloroplast genomes were uncovered in the Gene bank. The highly conservative nature and slow evolutionary rate of the chloroplast genome demonstrated that it was uniform enough to perform comparative studies across different species but divergent sufficiently to capture evolutionary events, which makes it a suitable and invaluable tool or molecular ph...
متن کاملComparative Analysis of the Complete Chloroplast Genomes of Five Quercus Species
Quercus is considered economically and ecologically one of the most important genera in the Northern Hemisphere. Oaks are taxonomically perplexing because of shared interspecific morphological traits and intraspecific morphological variation, which are mainly attributed to hybridization. Universal plastid markers cannot provide a sufficient number of variable sites to explore the phylogeny of t...
متن کاملComparative Chloroplast Genomes of Camellia Species
BACKGROUND Camellia, comprising more than 200 species, is a valuable economic commodity due to its enormously popular commercial products: tea leaves, flowers, and high-quality edible oils. It is the largest and most important genus in the family Theaceae. However, phylogenetic resolution of the species has proven to be difficult. Consequently, the interspecies relationships of the genus Camell...
