چکیده
The stress analysis of the three-stage gearbox is carried out by finite element method using Ansys commercial program. triple reduction helical made AISI 5115 Steel (16MnCr5) and 8620. Static structural rigid dynamic analyzes are performed in this work. a transmitting 0.5 kW at 1390 rpm with ratio 127.99:1. After setting boundary conditions for gears, performed. Rotational velocity given to rotating gears static analysis. Analyzing these types gearboxes be produced enables product more consciously optimum design parameters its right safety coefficients. analysis, also modal option software. mode shape natural frequency performed, operation values calculated considering input output gearbox. These compared normal operating condition see if there will any resonance gear box during conditions.

متن کاملAnalysis of a gear train using finite element modelling
Here the theoretical maximum contact stress is calculated by Hertz equation. Also the finite element analysis of spur gear is done to determine the maximum contact stress by ANSYS 14.5. It was found that the results from both Hertz equation and Finite Element Analysis are comparable. From the deformation pattern of steel and grey cast iron, it could be concluded that difference between the maxi...
متن کاملThree-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Stress Intensity Factors in a Spherical Pressure Vessel with Functionally Graded Coating
This research pertains to the three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis (FEA) of the stress intensity factors (SIFs) along the crack front in a spherical pressure vessel coated with functionally graded material (FGM). The vessel is subjected to internal pressure and thermal gradient. The exponential function is adopted for property of FGMs. SIFs are obtained for a wide variety of crack sha...
متن کاملA New Stress Based Approach for Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis
This article demonstrates a new approach for nonlinear finite element analysis. The methodology is very suitable and gives very accurate results in linear as well as in nonlinear range of the material behavior. Proposed methodology can be regarded as stress based finite element analysis as it is required to define the stress distribution within the structural body with structural idealization a...
متن کاملEffect of Abutment Height Difference on Stress Distribution in Mandibular Overdentures: A Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis
Background and Aim: Implant-supported overdentures are a treatment option for edentulous patients. One of the important factors in determining the prognosis of overdenture treatment is to control the distribution of stress in the implant-bone and attachment complex. This study assessed the effect of implant abutment height difference on stress distribution in mandibular overdentures. Materials...
