چکیده
This numerical study was conducted to simulate and analyze the pushout test for new shear connector in a steel-concrete composite system. In this system, stirrups of reinforced concrete beam are used as connectors when passed through holes drilled web inverted steel T-section. The analysis performed by creating three-dimensional finite element model using program ANSYS 21 student version behavior innovative connectors. specimens analyzed have been tested experimentally same researchers earlier. A total fifty-six push-out were modeled investigate effect many parameters on strength slip capacity connector. studied investigation specimen dimensions (length width), diameter (shear connector), number per specimen, strength, size T-section, shape specimen. gave good prediction failure modes, form intensity deformations model, load-slip response. maximum difference which observed between experimental results 15 %.

Finite Element Instability Analysis of the Steel Joist of Continuous Composite Beams with Flexible Shear Connectors
Composite steel/concrete beams may buckle in hogging bending regions. As the top flange of I-beam in that arrangement is restricted from any translational deformation and twist, the web will distort during buckling presenting a phenomenon often described as restricted distortional buckling. There are limited studies available in the literature of restricted distortional buckling of composite st...

There are different finite element models in place for predicting the bending behavior of shear deformable beams and plates. Mostly, the literature abounds with traditional equi-spaced Langrange based low order finite element approximations using displacement formulations. However, the finite element models of Timoshenko beams and Mindlin plates with linear interpolation of all generalized disp...

متن کاملFinite Element Analysis of Thin Steel Plate Shear Walls
Steel plate shear walls (SPSWs) in buildings are known to be an effective means for resisting lateral forces. By using un-stiffened walls and allowing them to buckle, their energy absorption capacity will increase significantly due to the postbuckling capacity. The post-buckling tension field action of SPSWs can provide substantial strength, stiffness and ductility. This paper presents the Fini...
