Fingerprint of chaos and quantum scars in kicked Dicke model: an out-of-time-order correlator study

We investigate the onset of chaos in a periodically kicked Dicke model (KDM), using out-of-time-order correlator (OTOC) as diagnostic tool, both oscillator and spin subspaces. In large limit, classical Hamiltonian map is constructed, which allows us to corresponding phase space dynamics compute Lyapunov exponent. show that growth rate OTOC for canonically conjugate coordinates able capture exponent chaotic regime. The further investigated saturation value OTOC, can serve an alternate indicator generic interacting quantum system. This also supported by system independent effective random matrix model. identify scars KDM detect their dynamical signature dynamics. relevance present study context ongoing cold atom experiments discussed.
