Finding and Testing Ant Assemblages as Indicators of Recovery Successions in Coal-Affected Areas

We studied the species richness of ants and types nests on dumps different ages formed by waste from coal mining industry in taiga forest-steppe zones Kemerovo Region, Russian Federation. It was revealed that only underground L. niger, prevalence with a wide ecological valence, which belong to ubiquist group, groups an adaptive type response anthropogenic pressure, act as indicators initial successions. following successions: presence predominance valence (ubiquist) pressure.
