Financial inclusion – does digital financial literacy matter for women entrepreneurs?

Purpose Women's financial inclusion has become a global research agenda, and past studies provide mixed evidence on the determinants of among women entrepreneurs across globe. However, impact digital literacy women's seldom been addressed in literature. Design/methodology/approach The authors perform cross-sectional analysis 144 countries using World Bank Global Findex Database. Findings This study’s probabilistic regression results indicate that with higher degree are more likely to engage formal banking channels. Practical implications study findings have practical terms allowing regulators banks draw effective policies attract customers. Lack regulatory intervention could lead exploring crimes, such as money laundering, due their lack involvement channel. Originality/value explore inclusion.
