Field-Induced Superconductivity near the Superconducting Critical Pressure in UTe2

چکیده
We report the magnetoresistance in novel spin-triplet superconductor UTe2 under pressure close to critical Pc, where superconducting phase terminates, for field along three a, b and c-axes orthorhombic structure. The H // a-axis just below Pc shows a field-reentrant behavior due competition with emergence of magnetic order at low fields. upper Hc2 c-axis quasi-vertical increase H-T diagram indicating that superconductivity is reinforced by strong fluctuations which persist even high fields above 20T. Increasing leads disappearance zero order. Surprisingly, field-induced observed fields, spin-polarized state realized suppression ordered phases; favorable superconductivity, whereas seems be unfavorable. huge imply state. Contrary a- c-axes, no field-reinforcement occurs b-axis. compare results metamagnetic field, Hm direction tilted about 30 deg. from ambient as well (-reinforced) ferromagnetic superconductors, URhGe UCoGe.

Pressure induced superconductivity in CaFe2As2.
CaFe2As2 has been found to be exceptionally sensitive to the application of hydrostatic pressure and can be tuned to reveal all the salient features associated with FeAs superconductivity without introducing any disorder. The ambient pressure, 170 K, structural/magnetic, first-order phase transition is suppressed to 128 K by 3.5 kbar. At 5.5 kbar a new transition is detected at 104 K, increasin...
متن کاملNovel superconducting semiconducting superlattices: dislocation-induced superconductivity?
Novel superconducting superlattices with transition temperature in the range 2.5-6.4 K consisting only of semiconducting materials are discovered. Among them there are multilayers, including a wide-gap semiconductor as one of the components. It is shown that superconductivity is connected with the interfaces between two semiconductors containing regular grids of the misfit dislocations. The pos...
متن کاملBulk Superconductivity in Type Ii Superconductors near the Second Critical Field
We consider superconductors of Type II near the transition from the ’bulk superconducting’ to the ’surface superconducting’ state. We prove a new L∞ estimate on the order parameter in the bulk, i.e. away from the boundary. This solves an open problem posed by Aftalion and Serfaty [AS].
متن کاملPressure induced superconductivity in pristine 1T-TiSe2.
The interplay between superconductivity and the charge-density wave (CDW) state in pure 1T-TiSe(2) is examined through a high-pressure study extending up to pressures of 10 GPa between sub-Kelvin and room temperatures. At a critical pressure of 2 GPa a superconducting phase sets in and persists up to pressures of 4 GPa. The maximum superconducting transition temperature is 1.8 K. These findings...
متن کاملPressure-induced superconductivity in europium metal
Of the 52 known elemental superconductors among the 92 naturally occurring elements in the periodic table, fully 22 only become superconducting under sufficiently high pressure. In the rare-earth metals, the strong local magnetic moments originating from the 4f shell suppress superconductivity. For Eu, however, Johansson and Rosengren have suggested that sufficiently high pressures should promo...
