FeRhCrSi: Spin semimetal with spin-valve behavior at room temperature

چکیده
FeRhCrSi shows unconventional magnetic and transport properties. It belongs to one of the rare spintronic material classes, namely, spin semimetals. Transport measurements reveal its semimetallic nature, which is further confirmed by $a\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}b$ $i\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}n\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}i\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}t\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}i\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}o$ calculations on partially disordered L2${}_{1}$ structure, experimentally synthesized authors. The most striking feature theasymmetric magnetoresistance variation with field at room temperature, clearly revealing spin-valve behavior. Disorder-induced ferrimagnetic regions within ferromagnetic host are proposed be reason for this Simultaneous observation valve features makes alloy quite interesting both from fundamental applied perspectives.
