An increasingly significant area of research with several applications in numerous disciplines is that multi-neck Helmholtz resonators. This set to explore the accuracy and applicability finite element method (FEM) for calculation resonance frequency The FEM employed estimation various cases resonators: cylindrical or spherical bodies, unflanged flanged necks dimensions combinations above. Also, single neck resonators are examined. results compared a recently proposed theoretical model available literature outcome lumped approximation (multi-neck) accounting added surface area. Comparisons revealed little deviation between (less than 1.1% error every case). On contrary, comparison (multi-neck), (up 40.3% examined). will prove useful expanding our understanding how perform under conditions configurations. present research, which highlights calculations resonators, goes step further; this approach can be applied special where it not trivial apply an analytical formula. used fields such as acoustic metamaterials, musical acoustics noise mitigation.
