چکیده
Despite the recent theoretical debate over importance of addressing emotions in fieldwork, most European undergraduate programmes anthropology still lack methodology courses that specifically focus on emotional impact doing research. In this article, I draw from my research with activist parents autistic children Portugal to explore affective dimensions fieldwork experience. particular, give an account how have dwelled challenges faced, these resulted vehicles understanding and affected analysis work as anthropologist. While experience always entails unexpected surprising challenges, argue anthropologists we can surely benefit more tailored support networks, safer spaces for discussion, better pastoral care.
