چکیده

This study aims to determine the effect of conventional vegetable oil as feed additive, according soybean oil, coconut corn and efficiency, conversion ratio (FCR) fat content red tilapia. Feeding trial in this had used Completely randomized design (CRD), with 4 treatments repeated times. Red tilapia much 160 initial weight 25-40g/head, kept an aquarium a volume 20 dm3 density 2 ind./L, fed pelleted addition for 40 days. The results showed that there was significant difference(p < 0.05) Feed Efficiency (FE), Conversion Ratio (FCR). highest EPP value treatment 4% 66.06% (P .05), then (47.28%), while control not gave FE 46.70%, 39.60%. best FCR 1.52 0.05%), additive 2.23, 2.17, 2.27. growth, increased fish descriptively compared without oil.

Effect of different protein levels of fry feed on the production of quality tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fry

A 4-week long feeding experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of different protein levels of quality Tilapia (O. niloticus) fry production in Agro-3 Fish Hatchery and Culture Farm, Boilor, Trishal, Mymensingh. Four days old 1247 fry (length 0.8 cm and weight 0.012 g) were stocked at the density of 1560/m in twelve synthetic hapas. Four different treatments (T1, T2, T3 and T4) in three r...

Feed Efficiency Opportunities with 2008 Feed Cost

With the milk to feed ratio at 2.36 in February, 2008, dairy managers must carefully reviewing feed inputs relative to milk yield. A milk to feed ratio under 3 is a signal to reduce feed inputs. Feed efficiency (also referred to as milk performance efficiency and dairy efficiency) can be defined as pounds of 3.5%FCM (fat corrected milk) produced per pound of dry matter (DM) consumed. Monitoring...
