Features of differential diagnosis of odontogenic cystsin children

Relevance: Odontogenic jaw cysts of inflammatory genesis in children are a cavity formation the bone tissue with predominantly asymptomatic course. This clinical and radiological picture may be characteristic number different pathologies, which poses clinician task conducting thorough differential diagnosis. The purpose study: To perform retrospective analysis histological examination protocols surgical material patients operated on for cysts. Materials methods: pathohistological period 20182022 childrens dental polyclinic No. 2 Volgograd was performed. data obtained were processed by methods variational statistics. Results: 89 studied, majority radicular associated temporary teeth-58 (70.7 %), followed follicular cysts-16 (19.5 then permanent teeth - 7 (8.5 1 (1.2 %) case residual cyst diagnosed. In 6 (6.7 cases, there discrepancy between diagnoses. Conclusion: A shell is mandatory to establish final diagnosis, however, diagnosis from tooth cyst, correlation clinical, signs necessary.
