Feasibility of a Full Chalcopyrite Tandem Solar Cell: A Quantitative Numerical Approach

چکیده

The potential of tandem solar cells combining two chalcopyrite absorbers is evaluated using numerical modeling based on an exhaustive set experimental parameters, offering a high degree confidence in the values reported herein. simple yet reliable approach used here combines transfer matrix‐based optical model wide bandgap CIGSe top subcell as input for 1D electrical reference narrow bottom cell. Various optimizations to are investigated, with aim increase current and reduce efficiency threshold needed at device beat single junction record. results suggest that significant progress compared state art can be made pure CuGaSe 2 absorber combined optimized back contact ultrathin transition metal oxide interlayer. With more than doubled optimum configuration, challenging clear pathway future realization offered.
